We live in a world where photos are everywhere. We take photos of everything. Kids. Puppies. Trees. Our dinner. Books we intend to read. The grocery list.
So why don’t we take more pictures at work?
It’s extremely important to develop trust with your current and prospective customers. Photos are one way to increase trust. By putting a face to the business, you are creating a deeper connection with your market. You are building credibility.

When a prospective customer visits the website of a small business, the “about us” page is one of the first pages they view.
By showing the people behind the company, you are increasing trust and engagement. You’re adding a personal touch. This is especially important for businesses that are providing a service rather than selling a product (though still important for both). Good marketing allows your potential customers to see what it will be like to work with you, which increases the “conversion rate” (the rate/speed at which they purchase). Photos provide a glimpse into your company. They improve connections, develop trust, and lead to increased sales.
Take a team photo! Your business would not be the same without your team. If your “team” is just you, have someone take a photo of you working. A team photo is a very simple and cost-effective way to help your business. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?
