Business Strategy / Planning

The first step in any business strategy is to identify where you are and where you want to go.  That means you need a business plan.  Using the Business Model Canvas or the Lean Canvas, I provide a written report outlining your business model with a list of recommendations and suggested timeframes for completion.

This is the starting point for future consulting, because I need to know who you are and where you want to go before I can give sound advice.

Special Projects

Special projects are quoted on a case by case basis, and always up front.  Some examples of short and long term projects are:

Proposal writing

Website creation / overhaul (non-technical)

Market research

Financial modeling

Business turnaround

Business pitch and/or pitch deck review

Pricing analysis (how do you compare to competition?)

Powerpoint presentations

Ongoing Consulting

Business strategy is not something that you look at once and forget about.  It's a process.  I'm on your team.  I will follow up to provide you the help and support you need to follow through with your plan.  Working with a consultant makes running a business less intimidating.

Small business owners tend to juggle too many things at once.  I will be the resource you need to get the job done.

Ongoing general consulting is billed hourly.  No surprises.

Case Study: El Segundo Chamber of Commerce

I completed a marketing strategy analysis for the Chamber.  Following my recommendations, the Chamber has launched my Number 1 recommendation: Creation of an Ambassador Committee to assist with member outreach and interaction.

Case Study: Appliance Company

Following a business planning session, I pointed out that an inventory control system would assist with cash flow planning.  The company is working on a new inventory control system.
